A while back, I posted a sneak peek of Kristin & Brian’s awesometastic wedding shot by the uber fab McLellan Style I am so stoked to share more little details!
Quick Recap: Bride Kristin is planner extraordinaire of Simply Stunning , hubby Brian Kaplan is wedding photog extraordinaire of Brian Kaplan Photography
When I first met with Kristin last January, we talked about her vision for her wedding day and I developed this Inspiration Board to get us thinking creatively:

A little down the line, I designed their invitations (which I love) and you can read all about on Kristin’s Blog
So, now onto the beautifulness
The bride’s bouquet: <3 <3 <3

I looked everywhere for this lil brooch to accompany the bouquet– It coordinated with the bling on K’s cake:

Brian & Kristin were married at St. Patrick’s Church on 2nd Avenue in Downtown Nashville. Built in the 1880s, the church was the first built for practicing Catholics in Nashville. This beautiful space was appointed simply with aisle markers of ivory fabric & a small pew marker of fresh hydrangea & roses:

A detailed shot of the pew markers:

The ringbearer pillow with moss, button mums, orchids & ribbon. The rings on there are fakes (planner bride Kristin thinks of everything!)

The beautiful bridal party– love this image:

The reception was held at the Country Music Hall of Fame I love that their guestbook was a guitar for guests to sign– how creative and reflective of their shared passion for music

I had cutout “K”s made that we filled in with flowers:

One of my favorite details was the row of moss & cylinders with flowers and small squares with “Ks” in button mums. I love celebrating a new last name!:

Another look at the water wall, as I like to call it:

For the centerpieces, we had a mix of three different looks: the consistent element tying all the pieces together was the incorporation of moss at the bases of all the pieces– even the cocktail table. The look was imbued a rustic sophistication that blended Kristin and Brian’s palate of green, orange, red, and oranges:
Table series A: medium height cylinders wrapped in green silk ribbon and filled with green hydrangea, dahlia, orchids, and roses:

Table Series B: A cluster of cylinder vases filled with colored water:

Table Series C: Large and impressive “trees” that complemented the grand height of the Country Music Hall of Fame:

A long view of the room:

Pairing refined elements (gold chargers, detailed and elegant napkins, champagne satin table coverings) with moss and rustic elements makes for a visually delightful table. A detail of each place setting, with the bride’s placecard (penned by me)

Consistency is important in setting the perfect tone for your decor– here, cocktail tables reflect a continuity in decor elements, with short cylinders of colored water upon moss with a floating candle:

A beautiful event, and my personal favorite wedding of 2009! Congrats, guys.
