A Sunny Wedding
This past weekend, Brocade worked on a farm near Wartrace, TN in floral & event design for Jessica and Nick, a super-sweet couple that had a love for sunflowers. I wanted to feature some of the work we did (with more photos available from the ever-so-talented Anna and Spencer Photography, with pro pics on their blog)
A few of my favorite photos from the day:
The bride carried a full bouquet of vyking poms, lush and full sunflowers, and cherry brandy roses.
The aisle was decorated with sunflowers, and the Chuppa with flowing gossamer, two sunflower heads, and a yellow and brown ribbon lattice design
I hung these paper lanterns in the tree over their chuppa– the afternoon turned breezy and it was absolutely perfect weather, and the lanterns softly swayed in the wind
The Bridesmaids carried bouquets of a single sunflower, vyking poms, and cherry brandy roses
The table decor was simple: a mason jar tied with chocolate brown ribbon, with sunflowers, a single rose, and fresh green salal leaves for a country feel. The same lanterns that hung near the ceremony later illuminated the tent.
It was a lovely country wedding that brought the couple’s love for sunflowers and simple, classic decor to life. Congratulations, Jessica & Nick!
